Rather than following a rigid route, your guide will adapt the day's safari according to the location of the herds, predator activity and prevailing conditions.

Another Day in the Heart of the Migration

After breakfast, enjoy another full day exploring the Ndutu ecosystem.

Spending multiple days in Ndutu gives you more time to discover different parts of the migration area and follow the movement of the herds instead of rushing through the region.

Your guide will continuously adjust the route according to wildlife activity and conditions. You may encounter large groups of wildebeest and zebra moving across the plains, while gazelles graze among the herds. Where prey concentrations are high, lions and cheetahs may also be active in the surrounding areas.

The changing light across the Ndutu plains creates excellent opportunities for wildlife photography, and your complimentary professional photographer will continue documenting your safari experience.

Game-Viewing Journey Through the Serengeti

After breakfast, leave Ndutu and begin your journey toward Central Serengeti.

This is more than simply a transfer between camps. The journey is designed as a game-viewing transfer, allowing your guide to stop and explore when wildlife is encountered along the route.

As you travel approximately 90–100 km toward Central Serengeti, the landscapes gradually change, offering opportunities to observe wildlife along the way. Depending on the season and location of the animals, you may encounter wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, giraffes, elephants or other species as you cross the Serengeti plains.

Your professional guide will determine suitable stops according to wildlife sightings, road conditions and the day's schedule.

Continue toward Dove Serengeti Camp, where you will check in, relax and enjoy dinner.

From the Serengeti Plains to the Ngorongoro Highlands

After breakfast, depart Central Serengeti and begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

The route provides an opportunity to enjoy the changing landscapes of northern Tanzania as you move away from the Serengeti plains toward the Ngorongoro Highlands.

The journey is approximately 140–150 km, although the actual safari experience can take longer because wildlife stops are incorporated into the route.

As you travel through the Serengeti, your guide will continue watching for wildlife. Depending on the area and conditions, you may encounter wildebeest and zebra herds, while giraffes, elephants and other plains wildlife may appear along the route.

Continue toward Ang'ata Ngorongoro Camp, where you will check in and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Ngorongoro region.

After breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day wildlife experience.

The crater floor provides a remarkable environment for wildlife viewing, with grasslands, water sources and varied habitats supporting a diverse range of animals.

During your game drive, you may encounter lions moving across the crater floor, elephants exploring the surrounding areas, buffaloes grazing in open grasslands, and zebras and wildebeest moving across the plains. Around water sources, you may also have opportunities to see hippos, while numerous other species contribute to the rich biodiversity of the crater.
