Pure gold! Best holiday ever! From start to finish our experience with Madini Africa Adventure was great. Fabulous and prompt reply to communications. No question too hard or too silly. Treated with absolute respect. Benaiah was amazing at understanding what we wanted from our safari and Frederic made it happen. Benaiah greeted us at the airport with flowers and a huge smile. So welcoming. Great to meet the person I had been communicating with for the past 7 months. Frederic has been in the industry for 15 years and is extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife, birds and botany. He listens and makes the wishes come true. He knows where to go to see the wildlife and took time to teach us Swahili. He is well known among the other operators and very obviously well respected among them. Frederic has a great sense if humour and is also keen to learn about where you are from. This tour was extremely good value for money. The accommodation we stayed at was first class. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and at each stop were fondly greeted and our anniversary was celebrated with the staff singing, baking a cake or providing special treats in our room. Great attention to detail. I would return to Tanzania and Madini Africa Adventure in a heartbeat! Ashley EllisJust Amazing from Start to Finish. I had a great experience with Madini African Adventure on their 4-day safari. We are originally from the UK and were staying in Zanzibar for three weeks. We knew we wanted to go on safari for a few days before we left, but we hadn't booked anything in advance. I logged onto Safari Bookings while in Zanzibar to obtain some quotes, and Madini was very competitive and offered all the parks we wanted to visit. We dealt with Edson for the booking, and he was fantastic, responding promptly with prices and answering all of our questions. I did have some issues when it came to making payment and had to try several workarounds. This is probably the only area that could be improved, although it isn't really Madini's fault, as Tanzania doesn't generally use the IBAN banking system. It would be helpful if they offered an easier payment method, such as a WorldPay payment portal or Xoom (PayPal). Despite this, Madini went above and beyond by arranging for someone on Zanzibar to collect our cash deposit in person and transfer it to them. That level of customer service was fantastic. We paid the remaining balance in cash when we arrived in Arusha. When we flew into Arusha Airport, they were there waiting to collect us. Our tour guide was Eric, and he was absolutely brilliant. He spoke excellent English, had an incredible knowledge of the wildlife, a great sense of humour, and was always smiling throughout the trip. Our first stop was Tarangire National Park, which was amazing. We saw elephants, leopards, monkeys, mongooses, countless birds, and magnificent baobab trees. Eric also prepared us a lovely home-cooked lunch. Later, we arrived at our lodge for the evening. Although it was a little dated, it was comfortable and a good place to rest after spending the day on the rough safari roads. If you have a bad back, I would recommend bringing a pillow to sit on to help absorb some of the bumps. On the second day, Eric was ready at the agreed time, and we headed to the Ngorongoro Crater. The scenery was stunning. From the rim, the views are absolutely beautiful, although there isn't much wildlife at the top. Once we descended into the crater, we saw an incredible range of animals, including zebras, Cape buffalo, black rhinos, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, giraffes, warthogs and even a rock python. Eric's eyesight is unbelievable—he somehow managed to spot animals that none of us could see. Whatever football console games he has played with friends over the years certainly hasn't affected his vision! We then continued to Serengeti National Park, which was full of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, zebras, gazelles, vultures, antelope and dik-diks. We certainly weren't disappointed. On the way to our luxury tent, we even spotted a spotted hyena on the path. This accommodation was one of the highlights of the trip. It felt very welcoming and, if camping isn't normally your thing, don't worry—these are luxury safari tents with excellent facilities and fantastic hosts. We could hear lions outside during the night, but the camp is well protected and patrolled, so we always felt completely safe. It was an unforgettable experience. On the third day, we explored the Serengeti again and saw even more wildlife, including serval cats, before travelling back towards the Ngorongoro area to stay at the original lodge. It would have been nice to stay somewhere different on the third night just for a bit of variety, but overall it was still a pleasant stay. On our final day, Eric made another early start so we had plenty of time to explore Lake Manyara National Park. Although we didn't manage to see the famous tree-climbing lions, we did see plenty of elephants along with lots of other wildlife, making it a great way to finish the safari. Eric also helped me with something very personal. As a former tanzanite miner, he gave me valuable advice while I was buying tanzanite for an engagement ring I plan to have made for my partner. His knowledge helped me secure an excellent deal, and I really appreciated his honesty and expertise. At the end of the safari, Eric ensured we arrived back at the airport in plenty of time for our flight. Eric is a huge asset to the Madini team and deserves real recognition. This safari simply wouldn't have been the same without him. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience, even bringing binoculars for us to use. If you travel with Eric, I would definitely recommend taking some cash to leave him a tip—he genuinely deserves it. My advice to anyone considering booking with Madini African Adventure is simple: do it! I'd also recommend bringing: A pillow for the safari vehicle if you have a bad back. Binoculars or a camera with a good zoom lens. Cash for tips and small purchases. Thank you, Madini African Adventure, for giving us memories that will last a lifetime. Conrad Gamazing experience with Fredrick Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit mit unserem Guide Fredrick in Tansania. Von Tangagire, Norongoro Krater, Serengeti bis zu den Ikomao Hills waren wir 10 Tage unterwegs. Er hat uns sehr viel Interessantes über die Natur und die Tiere erzählt und wir haben neben den Big 5 auch so viele andere Tiere, Vögel und Pflanzen kennengelernt. Die Chemie mit Fredrick hat vom Flughafen an gestimmt. Er hat sehr gut deutsch gesprochen und war sehr unterhaltsam. Der Spaß ist bei uns keinesfalls zu kurz gekommen. LaurieT1992Excellent company - professional and fun Asante sana Fredrick and Benaiah! An exceptionally well organised and incredible 4 day tour of Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti! Fred is great fun, always enthusiastic and extremely professional at the same time. Asked early on what we particularly wanted from our safari and made sure he tailored the tour to that (for us that meant taking us to see loads of beautiful and majestic giraffes!). Organising from the UK was easy and Benaiah was extremely responsive from first enquiring all the way to tailoring the trip to us and dealing with any small issues along the way!
