The Itinerary
An early morning pickup from your lodge starts the tour, followed by the drive to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch boxes along the way. Tarangire is known for its impressive elephant herds and a striking mix of landscapes, from open savannah to seasonal swamps, all threaded by the Tarangire River that draws in abundant wildlife — keep an eye out for lions on the hunt or leopards resting in the trees.
After a full day of game viewing, return to your lodge to relax over dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, set off for Serengeti National Park, with lunch enjoyed at a scenic spot inside the park and an afternoon game drive continuing on toward camp. The Serengeti is famed for its vast migrating herds of zebra, antelope and wildebeest, along with resident predators such as leopard, cheetah and lion.
Settle in for an overnight stay with all meals included at your camp inside the park.
An early start brings another morning of game drives in the Serengeti, catching the migrating herds of zebra, antelope and wildebeest, along with the leopard, cheetah and lion that follow them, before departing in the afternoon for Karatu.
Overnighting near Ngorongoro sets you up to descend into the crater early the next morning, while its wildlife is still most active.
After breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a final morning of game drives. Formed within the largest unbroken caldera on Earth, the crater is home to roughly 30,000 large mammals year-round — buffalo, lion, elephant, cheetah and rhino among them — plus a wide range of birdlife, including flamingos, eagles and buzzards.
Once the drive wraps up, transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight home.
