3-Day Amazing Tarangire, Ngorongoro & Manyara Safari

The Itinerary
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or your Arusha hotel, your guide welcomes you and sets off on the roughly two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. A full day of game viewing follows, with packed lunch boxes, across landscapes dominated by ancient baobabs and the river that gives the park its name.
Tarangire is famed for its large elephant herds gathering near water, alongside giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, and the lions and leopards that follow them.
After an early breakfast at your lodge in Karatu, a short drive brings you to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descending into the crater feels like entering a self-contained wildlife sanctuary — this UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the best places in Africa to spot the endangered black rhino, alongside lion, buffalo, zebra and hyena.
With over 500 recorded bird species, it's equally rewarding for birdwatchers. A picnic lunch on the crater floor precedes the ascent and return to your lodge for dinner.
Return to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a final full day of game viewing, home to the Big Five alongside hippo, flamingo and elusive black rhino, with a picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the crater.
In the late afternoon, transfer back toward Arusha, closing out one of the most memorable short safaris in northern Tanzania.
